Virtual Seat Tour
The Australian Open Virtual Seat Tour is NOW available for viewing. This exciting new internet feature provides dynamic 360-degree photos from various seats in Rod Laver Arena and Vodafone Arena. Corporate Seating and Hospitality areas can also be viewed. Click here to view.

“After Five” Ground Pass
An After 5 Ground Pass is available again for Australian Open 2008 from Monday 14th January to Saturday 19th January only, and will provide access to Melbourne Park from 5.00pm. Perfect for patrons attending after work and includes access (subject to availability) to a feature night match on Margaret Court Arena starting at approximately 7.30pm.

Children
Children 2 years and under are admitted free to Melbourne Park, but must be nursed in seated areas.

Restricted View and Restricted Leg Room seats
Seats in the front 2 rows of Rod Laver Arena are sold as restricted view, as handrails and signage partially obstruct a patron’s view of the court. Seats in Row PP in RLA have restricted leg room, compared to all other rows in the arena.

Concessions
Concession prices for Rod Laver Arena and Vodafone Arena tickets are available for children 15 years and under, full-time students and pensioners. Please note that only Australian student and pension cards are accepted and must be shown at the time the seats are purchased. Seniors cards and health care cards are not accepted.

Public transport information

Free shuttle trams
All valid Australian Open ticket holders are able to enjoy the FREE Yarra Trams shuttle services operating from the city to Rod Laver Arena and Vodafone Arena.

Trams depart from Flinders Street from 8.30am and continue to operate until one hour after the end of play, including Twilight and Night Sessions.

Trains
Alternatively, take a train to:
 Richmond Station and walk west along Swan Street
 Flinders Street Station and walk through Birrarung Marr to Melbourne Park via the pedestrian bridge
 Jolimont Station and walk south through Yarra Park

Buses
Bus Route 605 (Gardenvale – City via Kooyong Road) stops on Batman Avenue near Melbourne Park’s main entrance.

A valid Metcard is required for travel on trains, buses and non-shuttle tram services to the Australian Open.

Late night services
Public transport services (excluding the free shuttle service) will operate to a normal timetable during the tournament so passengers should check what time their last train, tram or bus leaves from the city. On Friday and Saturday nights, NightRider services depart the CBD from 12.30am.

Planning your journey
To plan how to get about and enjoy all the tennis action, visit Metlink’s online journey planner at metlinkmelbourne.com.au.
