Meet Wally Masur, former coach of the Australian Davis Cup team and now head coach of the National High Performance Academy in NSW.
In his playing career, Wally won three singles titles and 13 doubles titles, achieving a singles-high ranking of No.15 in 1993 and No.8 in doubles.
The former Canberran won the Australian Open junior title in 1981 and competed for Australia in Davis Cup from 1985-1993, amassing a 17-15 win/loss record.
He's now regarded as a leading tennis analyst and broadcaster. At Australian Open 2009, Wally is also a Jacob's Creek Honorary Ambassador and, together with Roger Rasheed, has been nominating an underdog player each day.
