Some of Australia's hottest bands and singers in the world have been brought together to create A Day on the Baseline – two double headline act concerts that will make finals weekend at Australian Open 2009 bigger and more entertaining than ever.

On Saturday 31 January, Pete Murray and Evermore will feature in a double headline act on women's singles final day.
While on men's singles final day, Sunday 1 February, Australia's multi-Aria award winner Gabriella Cilmi will take to the stage with The Cat Empire.
Currently enjoying chart success with his latest offering, Summer at Eureka, Pete Murray continues to deliver music that resonates with listeners around the world. Recorded in his home studio in Byron Bay, the album made it to the No.1 spot on the Aria charts earlier this year.
Joining Murray on Saturday 31 January are acclaimed trio Evermore, made up of brothers Jon, Peter and Dann Hume, have found success with their albums Dreams and Real Life, which have been nominated for six Arias.
After releasing one of the catchiest tracks of the year – Sweet About Me – Cilmi has raced up the charts and into the hearts of fans both locally and internationally. Her debut album, Lessons To Be Learned, topped the Aria charts in 2008.
Cilmi will share the bill with The Cat Empire, one of Australia's favourite party bands. The Cat Empire's latest album, So Many Nights went platinum. Their debut album, released in 2003, received seven Aria award nominations.
