Seedings for Australian Open 2008 were announced today with world No.1s Roger Federer (SUI) and Justine Henin (BEL) topping the men’s and women’s lists in what will be very strong draws.

Fans can expect to see the world’s best players at this year’s Australian Open, with all 32 of the top ranked women and all but two of the world’s top 32 men seeded.

Tommy Haas (GER) and Guillermo Canas (ARG) have withdrawn with shoulder and left wrist complaints respectively.

The Australian Open official draw will take place at 10am tomorrow in the Skyline Room at Melbourne Park.
